Our Story
Our story begins with a shared love of children's clothes. I started designing as a kid in my mom's work room. She had her own children's wear design and manufacturing business which she started as a young mother.
While helping her downsize to a smaller home, we came across many of the patterns she designed way back when. One thing led to another, and before we knew it we had a plan to launch a new business, and that was the beginning of Annabel Baby & Child.
Heritage
We built our foundation to create styles that would be luxurious, beautiful and invoke a joyful elegance yet be comfortable to wear.
We reimagined my mom's vintage patterns maintaining the vintage charm while combining some of the European formality with a little bit of the California laid back style.
Our Values
We take a quality-over-quantity approach and craft our garments with the most durable and softest fabrics available. Our Pima cotton and Liberty London's luxuriously soft and silky cotton is ideal for babies' and children's delicate skin.
We proudly use couture and traditional sewing techniques to bring our pieces to life, meaning they feel better on, last longer and are pieces you'll want to keep forever.
Traditional Ruffling
Liberty London Tana Lawn 100% cotton. Ruffles and frills are classic techniques requiring ten steps to get it right.
Extra Full Shirring
We always incorporate extra fabric into our shirring for skirts giving it that extra fullness for the perfect twirl.
Natural Shell Buttons
We are best known for our quality and style including hand embroidery, traditional smocking and natural shell buttons.
